SIX WAYS TO SELF DESTRUCTION
Walking down this rocky path
Its twists and turns unending
Wild dogs howling from the forest deep
Im petrified! can now stop pretending
Could have chosen the long straight road which surely led to town
Instead I turned at the sign that said
SIX WAYS TO SELF DESTRUCTION
First turn was rough and slippery
Took short and careful steps
And even though I was unsure
I didnt feel afraid
Was all exciting and brand new
The scenery breathtaking
What if I stumbled constantly?
This path was just amazing!
The second turn was frightening
For I was all alone
Drawn in too deep, completely lost
Alas! Which wa
The house seems warm inviting
The sound of laughter echoes
And outside in the yard the lonely mutt weeps..
Its freezing cold and rainy
The scraps of food do nothing
And from the chain that binds him
The wounds are just too deep.
Its been so long since master took him and threw him in the yard
He chained him to the pole outside and said This must suffice!
But that which hurts the most
Is that which used to be
The warmth, the love, the tenderness
Whatever did go wrong?
Unholy mutilation, the only way out
Must chew his own leg free
And bleed to death or run..
How can one bare the pure contempt into a lov
